Position Overview
The Social Media Manager will oversee the planning and execution of our social media strategy across various platforms. This individual will be responsible for creating engaging content, conducting analytics, and enhancing brand visibility. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies that align with Amazon's marketing goals and brand voice.
- Create and curate compelling content for various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor social media channels for trending topics, fan engagement, and competitor strategies.
- Manage social media campaigns from inception to evaluation, ensuring they deliver measurable results.
- Analyze and report on social media performance metrics, adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, and customer service teams to drive consistency in brand messaging.
- Engage with followers, respond to customer inquiries, and build a community around our brand.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in social media tools, applications, and best practices.
- Prepare presentations and reports on social media impact and ROI for upper management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience developing and executing successful social media strategies.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with a metrics-driven approach to strategy and execution.
- Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
- Knowledge of SEO principles and content marketing strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising and paid social.
- Familiarity with video production and editing software.
